FO/F6BCW – French Polynesia

Part of the recent TX9W DXpedition to Marquesas Islands, Didier FO/F6BCW is again QRV from Tikehau Atoll. Earlier info and pics below. He is expected to stay in FO until mid-July. Due to very heavy squalls and violent thunderstorms, the 30m and 40m bands are out – temporary antenna setups are destroyed. The VDA (Vertical Dipole Arrays) had almost collapsed too. The station itself is OK, says Didier. Zero EU (Europe) signals while monitoring beacons this (local) morning; there won’t be any EU opening today – [tnx F8FKI] Info from Manu, F8FKI: On April 3 (local) Didier will be setting up antennas for 30m, 40m & 80m in the Tikehau Atoll lagoon tomorrow.
