T2JK – Tuvalu
Aki reports that operations were scheduled to begin on July 30th. However, due to adverse weather conditions, the flight he was on reached Tuvaluan airspace but was unable to land and was forced to return to Fiji. The flight has now been rescheduled for August 2nd. Aki, JK1JXZ will again be active from Funafuti, Tuvalu as T2JK during July 30 – August 7, 2026. QRV on 80-6m; on weekdays he will be active after 5pm Tuvalu time and all day during the weekend of his stay. If the stay is extended, it may be possible to continue operations until August 14. QSL va LoTW. Note: The flight on Thursday July 30 will arrive in Funafuti around noon, so operations may begin around 3pm local time.
