S21WD – Bangladesh DXpedition

During the past two weekends, the S21WD team carried out our final hardware and systems test at our logistics headquarters hosted by DG8MG. The objective was to assemble the complete station as planned for Bangladesh, operate all components in parallel, and validate stability under realistic multi-operator conditions. Both Spiderbeam Yagi antennas, covering 12/17/30 meters and 10/12/15/17/20 meters, were fully assembled, mechanically aligned, and tuned. SWR and overall performance were verified across all bands. The antennas performed as expected and confirmed our operational concept. For the low bands, we installed and verified functionality of our RX loop, BOG (Beverage on Ground), and Beverage antennas. Noise characteristics, directionality, and switching behavior were evaluated in detail to finalize our receive strategy. The internal RX distribution system was assembled and tested to ensure stable multi-receiver operation without interference or noise ingress.

HQ9UM – Honduras

Further to the info below, the team have managed to obtain a local callsign for their upcoming Honduras DXpedition. Instead of signing homecalls/HR9 they will use HQ9UM, keeping HQ9X for the CQ WPX SSB contest. KN2P, N7VZ and W7UM will be active from Roatan island, NA-057 – Honduras during March 24-31, 2026. Participation in the CQ WPX SSB contest as HQ9X. Outside of contest as homecalls/HR9. QRV on 160-10m (no WARC bands); CW, SSB & FT8. QSLs via LoTW including HQ9X.

V4/SP9FIH – St Kitts & Nevis

Janusz, SP9FIH (currently active as VP2EWE) will be active from St Kitts & Nevis as V4/SP9FIH during March 23 to April 18, 2026. He plans to QRV on 30-6m; SSB, FT8, FT4 and maybe RTTY. Will also run as V47K in contests, ie CQ WPX. QSL via LoTW, Club Log OQRS.

Robert, DM7XX announces he will be active from Zambia as 9J2RO during March 16-30, 2026. QTH: Fountain Gate Crafts & Trades School which is the same location where 9J2FI operates from. Participation in the CQ WPX SSB contest. QSL via Club Log OQRS.

Helmut, DF7EE will again be active from Madeira as CT9/DF7EE during March 25 to April 1, 2026 . Participation in the CQ WPX SSB contest as CQ3W. His license covers 60m, so activity on this band is also planned. QSL both calls via Club Log OQRS.
